Despite my job title, I am actually an applied anatomist by trade. I've spent years stuffing an atlas of the human body into my brain. I now spend my days comparing that atlas with the anatomy that walks into my office daily in the form of patients. After doing this job for 20+ years, I thought I was starting to get a pretty good handle on things. However, I just ran across some sites that show me how much more I've got to learn. A few of the items now on my catch-up list:
- Skull anatomy and the fetal development of teddy bears
- Skeletal anatomy of Pac Man
- Internal viscera and skeleton of a balloon animal
- Skeletons and skulls of cartoon animals: Bugs Bunny, the Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote, Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Mickey Mouse.
